Start from the open-source core
Every Visiyon platform is built on the same open-source foundation: authentication, model routing, tool/function calling, and a plugin architecture for extending functionality. You can read the full source, run it locally, and see exactly how a request moves from your browser to a model and back — nothing runs that you can't inspect.
Choose your deployment
From there you have two paths. Sign up for the hosted cloud version at ai.visiyon.com and start working in minutes, with us managing the infrastructure. Or self-host the same open-source code on your own server or VPS, keeping full control over where your data lives and how the platform is configured — useful for organizations with data-residency or compliance requirements that a shared cloud can't satisfy.
Connect the models you want
Add API credentials for hosted providers like OpenAI or Anthropic, or point the platform at a self-hosted inference backend such as Ollama or vLLM for fully local inference. Multiple providers can run side by side, and access to specific models can be restricted per team or user group from the admin panel.
Extend it as you grow
Add SSO through an OIDC-compatible identity provider, wire up custom tools that call your internal systems, or attach a shared knowledge base for retrieval-augmented answers across a whole team. None of this requires forking the codebase — it's configuration, not custom development.
